Rob Burns, founder of P R Reach, is an entrepreneur and consultant whose expertise spans advertising and marketing design, electronics technology, computer science, internet marketing, search engine optimization and viral videos.
After graduating from high school early, Rob Burns attended La Jolla Academy of Advertising and Design majoring in marketing design. After graduation Rob started his own design firm, after a couple years working as a designer he decided while still young he wanted to travel. So he joined the coast guard, while in the guard Rob trained as an electronic technician and traveled the country and Yucatan on a law enforcement detachment. Rob also got obtained a degree in electronics technology and computer science.
Once out of the Coast Guard Robe went to work for Tech Data corporation selling and designing computer networks, After about 2 year the entrepreneurial bug took hold again and he never looked back. Rob started Baynan Publishing focusing on marketing and PR for major hotel chains. In its heyday Banyan had 15 employees a 5000 square foot commercial printing plant and contracts with virtually every major U.S. hotel chain. Immediately after September 11th every CFO from every major hotel chain called and cancelled their contracts as there would be no traveling that year.
So with time on his hands Rob decided to start a Hot Sauce company and entered the largest hot sauce contest in the world “The International Scovie Awards” and won in his category. Eventually the company was sold and Rob’s marketing evolved into online marketing and SEO.
Aside from consulting and client work rob also worked with some larger internet marketers partnering on product launches and product creation and launching SEO/Marketing products of his own. Having it all is not about striving for perfection, or about living our lives according to someone else’s standards or expectations (we’ve done that for far too long).
